   Start now — create a YouTube channel, Instagram page, or blog on any topic you know. Running your own channel teaches more in 6 months than any textbook. This portfolio becomes your resume. Stream doesn't matter at all for digital marketing.

   Any Graduation (BBA / BA / B.Com / B.Tech) + parallel certifications

   3 yrs

   Complete free certifications simultaneously: Google Digital Garage, Meta Blueprint, HubSpot Academy, Google Analytics (all free). Intern at a digital marketing agency in Year 2 — worth more than marks. BBA Marketing + MBA from MICA/Symbiosis/IMT needed for top agency/brand roles.

   Entry exam: CUET for central universities

   Specialise + build portfolio

   Specialise in one area: Performance Marketing, SEO, Social Media, Email Marketing, or Content Strategy. Get Google Ads + Meta Blueprint certified. Manage a real ₹5,000-10,000 ad budget on personal project — show ROI. Agencies hire on demonstrated results.

   Entry role → Growth

   Entry: Digital Marketing Executive, SEO Associate, Social Media Executive — ₹2.5-5 LPA. Promotion to Manager in 2-3 years. MBA Marketing from MICA/XLRI/IIM: ₹12-20 LPA from campus.
