BiPC → MBBS → UPSC CMS → Central Government Doctor (Railways / CGHS / Defence)

MBBS graduates can appear for UPSC CMS (Combined Medical Services) examination to join the central government as doctors serving in Railways, CGHS (Central Government Health Scheme), Armed Forces Medical Services, and other central health departments. CMS doctors enjoy stable government service, pension, housing, and ₹9–15 LPA pay structure that grows with seniority. This is the route for doctors who want government security without the extreme competition of PG (NEET-PG) specialization.
