Commerce or Any Stream → CMA (Cost and Management Accountant)
Commerce or any graduate can pursue CMA (Cost and Management Accountant) from ICMAI (Institute of Cost Accountants of India) — a rigorous professional qualification covering cost accounting, financial management, taxation, and strategic management. CMA complements CA in industry — CMAs work in manufacturing companies, government cost audit, and management consulting. Pass rates are demanding (~15–20% at Final level) but qualified CMAs at senior levels earn ₹10–25 LPA in industry, and government cost audits are reserved exclusively for CMAs.
