Science (PCM)ECET

Polytechnic Diploma → Lateral Entry B.Tech

Students who completed a Polytechnic Diploma (3 years after Class 10) in any engineering branch can join B.Tech directly in the 2nd year through Lateral Entry — without writing JEE. ECET (Engineering Common Entrance Test) is the gateway in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana; similar exams exist in other states. This path is ideal for students who couldn't pursue Class 11–12 through the traditional MPC route but gained technical skills through diploma training. The result is a full B.Tech degree in 3 years, at a lower cost than the standard 4-year route.

Duration after Class 10: 6 years
